In October 2012, 9 regional and 47 county representatives were trained on the current global and government debates and strategies on the care of vulnerable children. At the climax of the workshop, ACCIK was officially launched by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Gender Children and Social Development on 3rd October 2012, Nairobi, Kenya. All CCIS in Kenya to provide quality and child- friendly services in best interest of the child.

ACCIL is the creation of a team of entrepreneurs and professionals, who from a humble beginning in steel business and a cold rolling unit, have grown manifolds to reach its present level to set up a State of the Art Plant at Bawal, in Distt. ACCIL has the VISION to be a world class manufacturer of steel products and play a pivotal role for the economic growth of the country. To realize this vision, ACCIL has plans to set up fully integrated Steel and Power Plant in near future.
